Athens 7/10/09 Reg. num: 660 Dear colleagues, In reference to the General Assembly of 24th of Sept. 2009, we are informing you on our demands that were raised in this meeting. New legislation regarding A2, as already agreed with the Ministry of Sports and the Greek Federation. 1a. the amount of 500.000 Euro deposited as total guarantee of the minimum budget for the Clubs that participate in cat A1. 1b. Constitution of a trust fund concerning the 14 clubs of A1 and PSAK too, with the price of 100.000 Euro as entry fee, in order to keep cash flow of 1.500.000 Euro as payment of the debts to the players and coaches created by the clubs, at the end of the basketball season. In case that players have been paid from the trust fund, it is obligatory for the clubs to cover the expenses, in any other case the clubs will not have the right to participate in any competition. 2. Every player is entitled to change club during the basketball season, to another Greek club in case that his contract is terminated, or because the club has created debts. 3. No registration of new players to the club that has already debts to players and coaches. 4. In reference to foreign players retyrn to the old status. 4b.Every club is obligated to have at least 8 homegrown players in the roster. A homegrown player is considered to be every player that has the right to play for the national team or the ones that at least have participated in juniors’ Greek Championships 4 years. We would like to inform you that the following decisions of our Union were taken during the General Assembly. 1)The games will start with 5 minutes delay at the beginning of the fist day of A1 and A2 cat. 2)The next step will be that the games will start with 10 minutes delay at the beginning of the second day of A1 and A2 cat. In case we receive no satisfactory solution to our demands, then at the fourth and the fifth day of A1 and A2 there will be a general strike . After first of January 2010, the Union and all the members will be on permanent strike in case we have no solution to our demands.
